La Favorita, PR ScotlandLa Favorita serves up some tasty PR Scotland with headlines in a Scottsh food and drink trade magazine.

The Edinburgh based pizzeria was featured in DRAM magazine after receiving a special award from the Italia Chamber of Commerce.

DRAM features the latest food and drink trade news from across Scotland and highlighted the accolade picked up by the Italian pizza restaurant last month.

The ‘Marchio Ospitalita Italian’ award was given to La Favorita due to its commitment to using benuine and quality Italian food and drink produce, as well as creating a freindly and relaxed atmosphere usually associated with Italy’s top pizzerias.

Only four venues in the UK were handed this award and La Favorita was the single Scottish recipient.

Owner of the venue Tony Crolla quotes in the article: “We have always known that our pizzas are the best outside of Italy and now that we have this award we are able to say so with complete confidence – it is something that our staff and alos our customers can be proud of.”

The pizzeria’s award winning streak started in 2008 when it took the top prize in the Pizza and Pasta Association awards (PAPA) for its pizza delivery service, which uses eye catching mini’s to deliver orders on time and this was followed up with a series of awards including an AA Rosette and the Platinum award for Best Independent Pizza Restaurant at the PAPA awards 20110.

The article in the DRAM magazine was secured as part of a sustained PR campaign carried out on behalf of La Favorita by Holyrood PR.
