on behalf of U.S. Kids Golf European Championship
The Perthshire Advertiser has featured Pitlochry youngster Emily Aird as she bids to beat the world’s best young players at the 2009 U.S. Kids Golf European Championships.
The 13-year-old has received a boost with the positive media coverage in the run up to the event in East Lothian, Scotland, where she will take on more than 400 players from some 30 countries.
The article, headlined Starlet will take on US kids, tells how the Pitlochry High School pupil will play over five of East Lothian’s most historic courses and how the top five youngsters in each age and gender category will qualify for the U.S. Kids Golf World Championships at Pinehurst, North Carolina in August.
