Holyrood PR was commissioned by Travelodge to organise the glam party night to help the promote the hotel group’s special accommodation deals and Business Account card to influential PAs.

A mixologist from award-winning drinks company Barnomadics showed off his skills to offer a luxurious range of cocktails – ranging from classic Cosmopolitans to creating a unique twist on the refreshing Mojito.

Fashion advice was provided by John Lewis stylist Lorraine Madji who used a beautiful line of clothes and accessories to create easy work-to-evening outfits.

Delicious delicacies came in the form of Fiona Osbourne’s Cupcakes and Ribbons which not only offered SATC-themed cupcakes for everyone to enjoy – complete with iced handbags and shoes – but guests were given a masterclass to showcase her culinary talents.

Award-winning hair studio Freddy Antabi, as GHD Hair Stylist of the Year, brought a sense of style to the evening to show guests how to turn hair from drab into fab.

Shakila Ahmed, head of consumer PR at Travelodge, said: “I want to say a huge thank you to Holyrood PR. The event was a great success and your hard work is greatly appreciated.
I have received fantastic feedback from guests following the event.”

Holyrood PR Director Raymond Notarangelo said: “It was no easy challenge: to get at least 50 PAs to attend an evening event on a dark February night.

“We set about the challenge by putting together a fun and interesting programme of activities on a Sex and the City theme that really grabbed the attention of PAs.

“We all know that PAs are often the unappreciated powers behind the throne, so we felt they’d appreciate a chance to have some pampering.

“We’re delighted that we nearly doubled the target for attendees – and to get the kind of positive reaction from both guests and Travelodge.”

As well as expertise in public relations and media relations, Holyrood PR provides a wide range of services.
