Paul Henderson hit the water industry headlines online with news of his charity cycle ride for the Bubble Foundation.

Paul, who is the Sales and Marketing Director for Borders based water engineering firm Panton McLeod raised £350 for the charity which works to save the lives of babies and children born without an immune system from a specialist unit in Newcastle.

A keen cyclist, Paul took on the challenging three day cycle ride along the historical Borders Reivers Trail making it his first charity cycle challenge.

“Seven of us completed the route and it was a tough three days but when you’re pushing yourself for such a good cause it makes it completely worth the while and I felt a huge sense of achievement once I’d completed it.

“I chose the Bubble Foundation as other family members have previously chosen to raise funds for the charity, I suppose they have become the family’s nominated charity, they carry out amazing work which helps families from all over the North of England, Scotland and Ireland.”

Paul is still receiving donations and thanked the generosity of his family and his friends.
