Water Active PantonPanton McLeod Clean Up for PR Scotland.

One of the UK’s leading names in water inspection has proved their mettle by featuring in Water Active.

In it’s latest series of projects for Welsh Water, Panton McLeod used its ROV – a remotely-operated underwater submarine fitted with cameras – to inspect huge underwater storage tanks in Barry, Cardiff, Powys and Merthyr Tydfil which provide fresh water to hundreds of thousands of people throughout the region.

The machine can be manouvered like a submarine and is used to inspect huge underground facilities while they are still online, meaning that there is no need to drain the structures adn customers experience no disruption to their water supplies.

Panton McLeod specialises in the cleaning, inspection and repair off structures used to store drinking water. The firm has worked with some of the UK’s biggest water companies, including Scottish Water and Severn Trent Water.

The coverage appeared in Volume 7 of Water Active and was achieved on behalf of Panton McLeod thanks to the expertise of Holyrood Partnership.
