22-NOV-Record-Physio 22-NOV-The-Sun-Physio

Kirsten Lord, founder of The Physiotherapy Centre, which runs clinics in Edinburgh and Glasgow, has featured in the country’s two biggest newspapers.

She was quoted in both The Sun and the Daily Record after being sought out to comment on a new survey by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy showed many people were too scared to take time off work even when suffering chronic pain.

They survey showed many workers feared being branded as “workshy” and even worried they could lose their jobs.

Kirsten, one of Scotland’s most prominent physiotherapists, said the situation was worrying, because those with genuine problems could worsen their health issues by working through the pain barrier.

Kirsten featured in the papers – each read by around one million Scots per day – thanks to the profile raising media work of PR agency, Holyrood Partnership.
