Property experts, Bell Ingram, featured in the Scotsman property section with news that the Oban office has appointed it’s first Commercial Property Consultant.

With the perception that the only areas in Scotland to be experiencing continued growth is in Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh, it may have come as a surprise to many that Oban is experiencing such high trade that it requires a Commercial Property Consultant.

However, Gregor King’s arrival proves that there is a gap in Oban’s market with the potential for expansion.

Gregor King explained: “The market in Oban is the same as anywhere else. Tenants are generally in a better position than landlords, property is difficult to sell because the banks are unwilling or have no money to lend to property asset based businesses.  There is however demand for property for business occupation and we hope to make that process easier for all sides.”
