Panton McLeod Blog

Panton McLeod coverage in the IWO JournalOne of the UK’s leading water publications has ran a story about recent discussions over adapting one of Panton McLeod’s innovative cleaning robots for use in the nuclear industry.

The IWO Journal published the story on its online news pages, which details how the Scottish water engineering firm is in discussions about adapting its technology to clean water pools in nuclear power stations.

The firm discussed its robots – the VR600 and the ROV – at a recent conference in Sellafield which featured demonstrations from robotics experts from around the UK. Panton McLeod showed how it uses the technology to clean and inspect huge underground water storage tanks, but then discussed other possible uses for the machines with representatives from the nuclear industry.
