No More Needle Phobia Secures Extra PR Scotland For Dental Centre

Lubiju, Cosmetic Dentist Blog

Lubiju Top newsThe US news website Top News, has featured an article about a pain free aneasthetic that is set to be used at Lubiju dental centre.

The cosmetic dental clinic in Edinburgh, will be one of the first in Scotland to use the QuickSleeper system.  Providing a pain free jag for patients who a have a phobia of the needle.

The system works by injecting the anaesthetic into the soft bone of the tooth rather than the gum, causing patients to feel only a small sensation. Bone has hardly any nerve nedings so the previously painful needle is now sans oain.

Another advantage of the system is that it numbs only the teeth being worked on – removing that numbness of the cheeks and lips normally associated with the dentist.

Dr Biju Krishnan, who co founded the centre in Scotland says: “As well as benefiting the patient, for the dentist it is fantastic that up to eight teeth can be numbed at once, where previously a single injection per tooth was required”

Paul MacPherson from Genral Medical who supply the QuickSleeper, said that: “Kids and those with phobias of the dentist will gain most from the advancement”
