TWO adorable Shetland ponies visited residents at a care home in Fife, providing a refreshing story for both local papers and care news.

The residents at Bield’s Grants Bank loved meeting the miniature horses, Apple Jack and Wilson, who they could stroke and cuddle for the day. The experience offers therapeutic benefits to a whole host of conditions such as poor mobility and co-ordination, anxiety and dementia.

Events like this epitomise Bield’s ‘Free to be’ promise that supports their tenants, residents and service users in making their own choices and being free to live as independently as possible.

Find out more about how the residents got on with their tiny friends in our press release.

Our aim is to ensure that we share the stories of our clients in the most positive way, and this is of tremendous importance to us. We composed a press release to let people know about the wonderful work Bield are doing to create a positive social environment in their developments.
