NKD Clothing Updates Its Image – With PR Appointment

Holyrood PR Press releases

Respected NKD Clothing Ltd is making a bold change to its own image – by appointing PR specialists Holyrood PR to harness its growing reputation.

NKD Clothing is already Scotland’s leading designer of bespoke and stylish corporate wear, with a burgeoning client list and order book.

It has won plaudits for transforming the appearance of staff with a host of blue chip companies, including the De Vere and Malmaison hotel groups.

That success has been driven by founder Gill Eastgate, who spearheaded a management buyout in 2005 and has since doubled turnover to £1.3 million.

She said: “We are proud of helping our clients benefit from a more attractive and confident image. Now we are at the stage where we want to address our own image and shout a bit more about our team, their talents and our success stories.

“Our passion for design and quality is what sets us apart and that’s why we’ve enjoyed such growth on the strength of word of mouth recommendations alone.

“But we are also ambitious and know there are thousands of other businesses out there – large and small – who would be interested in what we do and want more of them hear our name.

“We realise that healthy PR and positive media relations are a hugely important part of that, so we set out to find a company which matched our own ideals.

“Finding Holyrood PR feels like a tremendous stroke of good fortune, as they are very passionate about what they do and ticked all the right boxes for us. Most importantly of all was that they were able to clearly demonstrate success.”

Gill EastgateThe NKD clothing contract is the fifth new business win for Holyrood PR in recent months.

The firm secured workplace design experts Space Solutions, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) promoter MAX Xtreme Fighting, courier company Eagle Couriers and online gaming giant Littlewoods Gaming, as well as being recruited to handle a Scottish PR project for online restaurant reservation site toptable.com.

Co-founder and Director Raymond Notarangelo said: “Most of these wins have come through word-of-mouth recommendations or from us delivering superb results from initial project work.

“That to us is a huge measure of the mounting reputation of Holyrood PR.

“We are very excited to work with NKD Clothing. It is a fast-moving, dynamic company that has a wealth of stories and Holyrood PR is delighted to be the one to tell them.”

Holyrood PR, Outstanding Small Consultancy Silver Award Winner 2007 in the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Scottish PRide Awards, was co-founded by ex-journalists Notarangelo and Scott Douglas in 2002.

The company has since enjoyed year-on-year growth, boasting clients such as the Care Commission, Scottish Water and Montpeliers (Edinburgh) Ltd.
