The 2009 U.S. Kids Golf European Championships has enjoyed positive media coverage in two more UK newspapers issuing a rallying cry to young golfers in their area.

The Loughborough Echo and the North Devon Journal have both featured articles encouraging young golfers in Leicestershire and Devon respectively to enter the competition because both areas were unrepresented in the field of more than 400 golfers from 30 countries across the world.

The coverage comes on the back of a successful media campaign by Holyrood PR.

Both articles mention the fact that the top-fiveyoungsters in each age and gender category in the tournament, to be held from 26-28 May in Scotland, qualify for the 2009 U.S. Kids Golf World Championships at Pinehurst, North Carolina in August.
