A world-first online service to help customers buy wines they have enjoyed in restaurants has launched in Scotland.

New service myrestaurantwines.com is also expected to benefits restaurants and hospitality busiensses across the country.

Now the website has been featured in Scottish hospitality industry bible, the Scottish Licensed Trade News (SLTN).

It reported: “The site, which is free for hotels and restaurants to join, allows consumers to order wine they have drunk in a particular outlet and have it delviered to their home.”

As reported in SLTN, each participating venue gets its own ‘landing page’, from where it can sell the wines it stocks.

The site also carries a link to each outlets’ website and booking system, as well as wine of the month.

Public relations agency Holyrood Partnership is working with www.myrestaurantwines.com to help ensure its launch is successfull.
