Scotland’s care watchdog, the Care Commission, has received another glowing piece of media coverage in the specialist children’s sector press.
Nursery World ran a story about the Care Commission’s latest report Making the Grade which showed that the majority of children’s services in Scotland are offering good standards of care.
The report details an overview of all Scottish care standards during the Care Commision’s first year of grading, and shows that the majority of services are providing good care to their users. Under the system, which was introduced in 2008, all care services are measured against a set of quality themes and given a grade between 1 (unsatisfactory) and 6 (excellent).
