The Uk’s number one card chain has opened up some impressive PR Scotland coverage in the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Irreverent card chain Scribbler unveiled its newest store this month in Leeds, showing that greetings cards doesn’t have to be a risque business, gaining a feature in a popular local newspaper.
The article details the opening of the new store – located on Commercial street – which will be the chain’s 19th store to open since it was founded in 1981.
Scribbler is famous for its selection of humour filled cards, bordering on the risque and providing a niche market for unusual and bespoke cards. As well as cards the store also sells a wide selection of gifts, stationary and wrapping paper.
John Proctor founder of the chain with his wife Jennie quotes in the article: “We are irreverent, tongue in cheek and not terrible caught up in political correctness – and we think the profile of the city suits the profile of the company.
“We’re really confident Scribbler will work really well in Leeds – they like an edgy sense of humour and think they will appreciate the risque side to our business.
