One Call Home Assist enjoys positive headlines thanks to Holyrood PR PR in ScotlandProperty maintenance expert One Call Home Assist has stepped up its ambitious UK expansion plans by moving into new headquarters.

The firm, which provides unique fixed-price maintenance contracts to help homeowners and landlords save thousands of pounds in repair bills, has taken its first step to growing the business across the country by investing £200,000 in re-branding and relocating to new premises in Edinburgh.

The investment comes after a successful first five months for the firm, which was set up earlier this year as a low-cost alternative to costly maintenance contracts such as those offered by the likes of British Gas and Homeserve.

One Call Home Assist’s emergency and maintenance contracts, which cover all maintenance issues, emergency call-outs and annual certification work, have already been hugely popular after the service was piloted with landlords and property owners in the Lothians and Fife.

The initial success has prompted company directors to step up their ambitious plans to expand to the rest of Scotland and the UK.

UK expansion for property expert

John Dickson, One Call Home Assist’s national sales director, said: “We’re delighted to have moved into our new headquarters in Edinburgh, which we envisage being the hub for all of our future operations across Scotland and the UK.

“Since launching One Call Home Assist earlier this year, we’ve been very pleased with the positive response that we have received from landlords and property owners across the east of Scotland. People are recognising our liveried vehicles and are taking notice of our services, which in turn is helping to spark interest from further afield.

“It’s clear that our unique service has caught the attention of many property investors and we are keen to roll out One Call Home Assist across the rest of the country.

“We’ve made a big investment to re-brand the company, create a new dynamic logo and move into a more stylish and suitable base of operations in the west of the city.

“This is just the first stage of a wider expansion that we plan to implement over the whole of the UK. Ultimately, we hope to move into new regions – either through franchises or acquisitions – and promote our services to commercial customers.

Scottish PR success for One Call Home Assist

“We also have other ambitious projects in the pipeline which we hope will help expand the business event further in the near future.”

One Call Home Assist was launched in March 2009 as a value-for-money rival to expensive maintenance and repair contracts offered by firms such as British Gas and Homeserve.

With its fixed-price contracts, all emergency repair work to electrical, plumbing and heating systems is covered, as well as general maintenance issues.  They also cover all compliance certification including gas safety certificates, Energy Performance certificates and Electrical PAT testing.

The company offers a range of fixed prices contracts depending on size of the property and type of maintenance cover required – with an all-in contract for a one-bed flat costing £32.99 a month (inc VAT).  All the work is carried out by One Call Home Assist’s expert in-house contractor teams who operate on a round the clock basis from their headquarters in Edinburgh.

One Call Home Assist launched by One Call Trade Services, one of Scotland’s leading all trades contractors providing insurance repairs, maintenance and renovations to clients throughout the UK.

The company enjoys a high media profile and positive headlines thanks to Edinburgh public relations agency Holyrood PR PR in Scotland. You can contact montrealmovers.com to get your moving requirements sorted when shifting to a new home.
