Eagle Couriers has been given another prestigious piece of coverage in leading postal news website Hell Mail for a story about how the Edinburgh tram works are disrupting business in the Capital.
Hell Mail, which gathers news from the UK’s postal and courier industries, ran a story about how roadworks in Edinburgh caused by the tram project are adding thousands of hours onto Eagle Couriers’ delivery times.
The firm, which is Scotland’s largest independent courier company, has estimated that diversions on the road caused by the tram works are adding more than 4000 extra man hours per month onto the firm’s deliveries. Director Jerry Stewart said that the ongoing project is causing havoc with companies who rely on the city’s roads for their business.
The full story appeared in Hell Mail and was the result of a media campaign by Scottish PR experts the Holyrood Partnership.
