Hibs/Hearts Players help kids, New Ice cream parlour open and Tech Oscars all in one PR Video

It’s time to share all the in’s and out’s of fantastic stories and how we tell them in one bumper PR Video featuring a visit from Edinburgh Football teams to children in hospital, the latest ice cream parlour to land in Aberdeen and a huge success for everyone at the Scottish Cyber Awards.
Mackie's of ScotlandWe can finally unveil the new Ice cream parlour that was launched by the Scottish Ice Cream producers at Mackie’s of Scotland. Over the past few months, the Holyrood Food and Drink PR experts have been getting the media bustling with news coming out from the parlour in Marischal Square in Aberdeen. We found stories that generated news coverage about everything from the name of the new parlour to the contractors carrying out the refit. By the time the launch came, we put our foot to the accelerator to deliver even more fantastic coverage from popular news sites like BBC, STV and the Scottish Business News Network, to traditional titles like The Scotsman and The Times – gaining a very impressive potential reach of 2,426,472 people.
We also sent Craig, our resident videographer to Aberdeen to catch the first glimpse of the Parlour on camera, as well as editing together a full timelapse of the parlour’s refit from start to finish and an interview with Mackie’s of Scotland directors Mac Mackie and Kirstin McNutt.
Luckily he managed to not get to distracted by the trays of delicious ice creams on display.
The children at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children couldn’t leave to see the footballers from Hibernian F.C. or Heart of Midlothian, so the Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity (ECHC) arranged team came to them – on separate days of course.
We were on hand to arrange a photo call on the day for ECHC and make sure the talent of Scotland’s press photographers got the photograph they needed to put ECHC front and centre in the news.
Thanks to are well-skilled and media trained PR team ECHC featured on STV News, The Scotsman and more coverage, which you can read here.

Table setting from Scottish Cyber AwardsThe recently held Scottish Cyber Awards, hosted by our client the Scottish Business Resilience Centre was another stunning success. The important tech event recognised new industry talent and the top performers in the tech field. Pleasingly, the ceremony and its host got the recognition they deserved as we spread news of the event far and wide.

And with a well-received highlight video for the client, produced by our in-house video team, no doubt it will be a useful asset to encourage more guests at the 2018 Scottish Cyber Awards.
We secured slots in titles including the The Scotsman, the Edinburgh Evening News, Scottish Business News Network and full pages in both the West Lothian Courier and the Paisley Daily Express.
