New wave of development brings a brand new showhome to Gullane
THE SECOND eagerly-anticipated phase of a popular East Lothian development has now launched with the opening of a brand new showhome.
Marine Rise by CALA Homes (East), situated in the desirable community of Gullane, has opened the doors to its new ‘Stevenson’ showhome – giving homebuyers the opportunity to step in and see what life could be like by the coast.
The first phase of Marine Rise has almost completely sold out, with the new range of four and five-bedroom detached homes now available to reserve.
Designed by Eileen Kesson of Envision, the five-bedroom Stevenson showhome has been finished with flexible and contemporary family living in mind.
Eileen said: “We really wanted to go with a fresh, unashamedly modern feel with this home to mark this new phase in the development.
“Because of its location by the sea, naturally you might expect the colour scheme to be quite nautical and cool, but we’ve created a design which is more colourful and warm just to shake it up a bit.
“The statement colours that run throughout are a lovely copper terracotta, and a fashion-led jade green, with some chic pale greys and neutrals to pull the look together.”
Bespoke to CALA’s East Lothian range, The Stevenson is designed to embrace modern, flexible family living, with a large lounge and feature double doors, open plan kitchen and living idea with bi-folding doors to the garden and plentiful storage throughout.
Eileen added: “The Stevenson is a very generously-sized home so we must consider the open spaces, like the stunning upstairs gallery in the house that looks onto the kitchen area, to make sure it all links nicely together.
“There are some touches that we think really modernise the whole design, such as the statement copper chandelier in the dining room and stylish panel wall coverings in the lounge.”
Marine Rise benefits from the semi-rural surroundings of Gullane, where there are plentiful local amenities, as well as open green space and award-winning beaches on the doorstep.
Philip Hogg, Sales and Marketing Director with CALA Homes (East), said: “With the valued expertise of Envision, The Stevenson really is an exceptional showhome – and a fantastic addition to the development.
“If you are considering a move to the coast, we recommend you come along to see this stunning showhome in its idyllic setting.”
Prices at Marine Rise range from £295,000 to £659,000. The development features a range of detached properties, as well as bespoke refurbished apartments in nearby local landmark, Henderson House.
The Stevenson is available to view daily. Please contact 01620 807 662 to arrange an appointment or visit https://www.cala.co.uk/homes-for-sale/east-of-scotland/marine-rise for more information.
