Edinburgh’s hospitality achieves major national coverage
Food and Drink PR success is served up to all our clients at Holyrood PR.
The Tower in Penicuik, offers its customers a healthy alternative to the usual chip shop fare, offering oven roasted fish instead of deep fried and vegetables instead of chips.
Customers can choose from a range of fish including; seabass, haddock, salmon and tilapia.
When looking for great Italian food every Edinburgher knows that La Favorita offers the best log fired pizza, unmissable calzones, and some of the best choice of pasta dishes on the East coast.
Owner Tony Crolla has launched a special deal specifically for his La Favorita Facebook and Twitter followers. The scheme, called “Tony’s Tuesdays” will run all day every Tuesday giving followers a buy one get one free deal on all A La Carte main courses.
Our food and drink PR campaign generated the following media coverage:
- 8 items of valuable coverage across print and digital
- Coverage in widely-read regional publication, Edinburgh Evening News
- Trade coverage in Italian Restaurants Edinburgh and Informed Edinburgh
- National coverage in The Courier, Scottish Daily Mail and The Daily Record
Domenico Pia owner of The Tower says in the article: “We wanted to try out the idea of a healthy takeaway, something that you didn’t just have once a week as a treat.
“Seasonal high end fish is very expensive, but we found that we could serve seabass and salmon for little more than the price of haddock.
“Initially a lot of people are tentative about trying new things but nine times out of ten they are happy that they have experimented.”
The menu at The Tower is thought to be unique amongst Scottish chip shops and is the only chippy in Scotland to offer healthy alternatives.
La Favorita’s pizza van is bringing a whole new meaning to fast food by taking its pizza van on the road.
The van which has so far this year been present at T in the Park will now be located next to McEwan Hall throughout the Edinburgh festival.
Tony Crolla owner of La Favorita says in the article: “By taking my pizza to the road I am making the La Favorita product more mobile and available to more and more people”
