Banks has a clean sweep of regional, national and specialist coverage

AFTER Banks Renewables’ Kype Muir wind farm was selected by the Scottish Government’s Cabinet Secretary for Net Zero, Energy and Transport to launch a national onshore wind consultation – our renewables PR team were straight on the case.

Michael Matheson MSP attended the wind farm to give a short speech and discuss with key consultees his future plans for onshore wind and the benefits it can bring to local communities.

Our renewables team arranged for PR photography to be carried out on the day and issued a follow up release, achieving the following powerful results:

• 8 Items of coverage across online and social media publications
• 2,099,270 opportunities to see across National and specialist titles
• Key Coverage in; BBC News, Renewables Now, and The Energyst

Our team liaised closely with Banks and the Scottish Government team to make arrangements for Mr Matheson to attend the launch as well as preparing the Banks team for any potential media interviews.

We attended the event to support Banks and facilitated an interview with Michael to be captured on video.

The team then drafted a press release, identifying Kype as a perfect example of onshore wind and how it can work to benefit communities and sent it out to key titles.

The coverage placed Banks in front of millions of people UK wide and established Banks Renewables and a trustworthy, committed company at the forefront of its sector.
