Supermodel Naomi Campbell sashays onto the catwalk in London tomorrow (Thu) hoping to raise millions of pounds for the fight against Ebola.

Naomi, 44, is promoting the Fashion For Relief Show with a host of showbiz pals and international models in order to fund the building of a new hospital in Sierra Leone, in West Africa.

Caring Naomi is working with close friend Kathrin Glock and major sponsor – who has already donated a generous seven figured sum to kick start the project.

Businesswoman Kathrin, 31, is the wife of famous Austrian weapons manufacturer Gaston Glock, 85, and has already sponsored two successful fundraisers in Austria and New York.

Stunning Naomi, who arrives fresh from a successful show in New York, said: “I am delighted to be at the forefront of a campaign which is helping raise awareness about the Ebola virus around the world.

“Thousands of families and villages have been decimated by this dreadful disease and we must do everything to treat and stop it spreading anymore in the future.

“Our major aim is to build a brand new hospital in Sierra Leone to help in the treatment of this virus and all the wonderful doctors and nurses who are working so hard in very difficult conditions.

“I’d also like to thank my close friends Gaston and Kathrin Glock for their very generous sponsorship and continued support.”

The charity show is being staged at Somerset House in The Strand tomorrow evening and will kick off this year’s London Fashion Week.

All the pieces on the night will be auctioned to raise funds for the fight against Ebola. Dolce and Gabbana, Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney and Versace are all thought to have given to the cause.

Naomi and Kathrin, who is chairman of the supervisory board at Glock, met last year and planned the Fashion For Relief Shows together after Kathrin offered to help. The next fundraiser after London Fashion Week is in Cannes, France.
