Racecourse sell out PR
Tuesday, March 22nd, 2016
on behalf of Musselburgh Racecourse
The stylish event, which last year attracted a sell-out record 10,300 attendance, has already proved a huge hit, with general admission tickets selling out fast.
A number of appealing packages, including the Picnic Pavilion, are still up for grabs for anyone unable to secure a standard ticket. Combining thrilling action and glamour, attendees can add a touch of style to the day as it offers first class views, guaranteed rain cover and the opportunity to bring your own picnic.
To top it all off, visitors who purchase the Picnic Pavilion package will automatically be entered into a competition to win a lavish spa day at Stobo Castle for four people.
Now widely recognised as Scotland’s biggest fashion extravaganza, Stobo Castle Ladies Day also features Musselburgh’s richest horse race of the season, the £100,000 William Hill Scottish Sprint Cup.
The 11 June raceday usually sells out weeks in advance and, with only 350 general admission tickets left to be snapped up, Musselburgh Racecourse marketing manager, Aisling Johnston, is urging racegoers to get in quick and avoid disappointment later on.
She said: “Every year we are inundated with calls and messages from people who desperately want to come to Ladies Day but for a variety of reasons have left it too late and we have sold out to our maximum capacity.
“For anyone thinking of coming to Scotland’s premier racing and fashion day, plan ahead and make sure you purchase your ticket now before it’s too late. It is a fantastic experience and we pull out all the stops to have the racecourse looking its absolute best to match the effort put in by thousands of fantastic looking racing fans who enjoy this day.”
In addition to general admission tickets, a variety of picnic, marquee and hospitality packages are on offer to suit all budgets.
