Panton McLeod’s latest cleaning challenge at a major water treatment works has made the headlines on a water industry news website.
Water Active – which provides full coverage of water industry issues – produced the story on its website detailing Panton McLeod’s unusual discovery.
Under the headline “Water Experts Mussel In On Cleaning Job For Severn Trent” the article explains that the specialist team at Panton McLeod uncovered freshwater mussel shells during a routine clean at the Campion Hills Water Treatment Works, which is owned by Severn Trent Water.
The story highlights that the cleaning project was part of a wider improvement scheme on the site, which was aimed at making the facility more environmentally friendly and efficient.
