The first quarterly report of 2009 from Scotland’s leading lettings portal Citylets has secured a high profile feature on a leading worldwide news site.
The report, which showed how rents were starting to fall across Scotland, was featured on IT News Online – a website which collates and publishes high profile news stories from around the world.
Citylets is Scotland’s most successful lettings portal and its quarterly report is the country’s only detailed and independent barometer of the rental market, based on 40,000 annual lettings through over 250 agents. It is now a respected tool among investors, landlords and letting agencies.
The first quarter report covered the period January to March 2009, and revealed that average rents in Scotland had decreased year-on-year by 1.1% to £638.
