Eagle Couriers has been toasting another success after its Budget response was featured in leading postal industry portal Hell Mail.

Scotland’s leading independent courier firm was quoted saying that the latest fuel duty hikes announced by Chancellor Alistair Darling were a “kick in the teeth” to motorists across the UK.

Director Jerry Stewart said that the Government had already reneged twice on its promise not to raise fuel duty for a year and that the latest 2p rise in fuel duty would badly affect some businesses who use fuel for their livelihoods.
