The U.S. Kids Golf European Championship has received another high-profile media hit in the Austrian newspapers.
Online paper the Austrian Independent ran a story about how competitors from the continent were still being sought for this year’s tournament, which has been heralded as the junior equivalent of the Open championship for the golfing stars of tomorrow.
The tournament will be staged in East Lothian in June and will see hundreds of the world’s best young players battle it out on the links for the title of European Champion. Many of the youngsters have been widely-tipped to become the next generation of professional golfers, meaning the standard of play at the event is expected to be extremely high.
The full article can be viewed on the Austrian Independent website and was secured thanks to a PR and social media campaign carried out by Edinburgh public relations agency the Holyrood Partnership.
