Successful summer of media success for Space Solutions

WORKPLACE design specialist Space Solutions are celebrating after glowing Scottish PR coverage reports flow in all summer.

Space solutions offer consultancy and design services to businesses that help clients utilise work space and design and redesign interiors and architecture.

The firm are excited after gaining successful media coverage over summer thanks to a successful Scottish PR campaign by Holyrood PR.

The media coverage came in from the following stories; Champion Technologies new £4.5 million research and development laboratory, refurbishment of the Glasgow headquarters of St Andrews First Aid, partnership with Scottish charity Cornerstone, Optimus Seventh Generation project, tax advice to commercial property companies, Boroughmuir deal and the CMS Cameron McKenna refurbishment.

The strategic partnership will see Space Solutions provide a range of services for Cornerstone, including site finding and feasibility studies for potential social enterprise projects, designing and building specialist accommodation for people with disabilities and the fit out of regional offices.

The project with Optimus Seventh Generation saw Space Solutions help locate all of the safety management firm’s staff into a new premises in Aberdeen, which was fitted out with new conference and training facilities. Previously, the company had been forced to use hotels to perform such work.

The Aberdeen-based firm encouraged companies to act quickly to take advantage of recent tax changes that can allow them to give their premises a facelift and help to drive growth. It added that firms needed to exploit the increase in the annual investment allowance for expenditure on plant, machinery, fixtures and fittings – which has doubled from £50,000 to £100,000 as a result of George Osborne’s last budget.

Space Solutions has signed a deal to become the official shirt sponsor for Boroughmuir RFC for the forthcoming season. Director Derek Binnie said that the club’s community ethos and team passion had encouraged Space Solutions to make the deal.

The leading workplace design experts, won the contract with the Cornerstone charity, that provides a series of services for disabled people including specialist accommodation. Space Solutions will provide property managment including site finding and feasability studies for potential projects, designing and building accomodation and fitting out regional offices.

Space Solutions helped carry out the project for legal firm CMS Cameron McKenna, in order to improve the acoustics at its new base in Aberdeen. The project included the installation of a state-of-the-art glass partition designed to cut noise disruption in the law firm’s main conference rooms.
