Montpeliers makes merry with Christmas cocktails

Montpeliers (Edinburgh) Ltd that runs eight of the city’s most cutting-edge venues including Tigerlily, Rick’s and Opal Lounge has added the Festini, Merry Mojito and Yule Mule to its award-winning cocktail menu.
David Johnston, Development Director at Montpeliers, said: “Our team of mixologists has created a delectable Christmas cocktail list.
“Christmas is a time of warming the heart, and these cocktails will definitely do that.
“Our team of mixers have been very creative with classic Christmas flavours to capture the magic of the season but give it a sexy, modern edge.”
The company, which is renowned for its impressive cocktail selection, promises this year’s menu will evoke the smells, tastes and spirit of yuletide.
The cocktails are made of ingredients such as Belvedere vodka, Plymouth gin, Cointreau and orange-based Grand Marnier and all Belvedere cocktails come with a complimentary, disposable camera so all your best moments can be captured!
Mal Spence, Head Mixologists at Rick’s said: “With the Christmas menu we like to take favourite cocktails and give them a festive twist, such as adding seasonal berries for a Merry Mojito or adding chocolate and vanilla spirits to Rocco Prosecco.
“Ultimately, the cocktail menu is the product of all our mixologists bringing their creativity and ideas together to produce a range of drinks that are exciting, delicious and guaranteed to get you into the party spirit.”
