WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE MEMBERS OF AN AWARD WINNING PR AGENCY

Scottish PR agency Stuart Milne

LAST week you were introduced to our Junior Account Executive, Melissa Craib. This week attention turns to Account Executive, Stuart Milne. Stuart works with clients such as Bield, Cala Land and Planning, Eagle Couriers, Mackie’s of Scotland and the Scottish Business Resilience Centre.

FScottish PR agency member Melissa Craib.ind out more about the newest recruit Melissa Craib, our Junior Account Executive. Her superpower wish to be able to teleport. And her failed attempt at an acting career.

Stuart studied philosophy at the University of Glasgow and then went on to do a Masters in Epistemology at the University of Edinburgh.

Q. What do you enjoy most about your job?

Writing, it’s nice to write for a living. I love writing and researching.

Q. What do you enjoy most when you’re not in the office?

Rugby, I used to play rugby a lot as part of my school first XV and for my county – Fife. I now play touch rugby for an Edinburgh based team ‘Six Pack’.

Q. Tell us something not many people know about you.

For one night I played guitar in the support band for Mercury nominated King Creosote. Sadly he lost out to P J Harvey.

Q. What would you define as the highlight of your career so far?

I’ve not been here that long but picking up the two awards at the CIPR PRide Awards: Low-Budget Campaign; and Corporate Business and Communications Campaign.

Q. If you were able to read one newspaper for the rest of your life, what would it be?

The Onion just because it is fake. I think it would be depressing only reading one side of the debate all the time which you would inevitably get with almost all newspapers to some extent. The Onion is complete nonsense so would probably give me a brighter outlook on life.

Q. When the office tea-round comes around, what is your drink of choice?

Tea with milk and no sugar. Sugar in tea is an abomination which I can’t stand for.

Q. And outside of work?

Dark beers. Like craft Scotch ales and porters.

Q. You have one superpower, which superpower do you have, and how do you use it?

To be able to stop time without ageing. So that I could sleep more – plus you would be able to complete your job in literally no time. I could travel everywhere and anywhere without paying by sneaking on to trains and planes.
