Ainsley studied PR and Marketing at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. Having previously worked on accounts such as Asda and Greggs at a large international agency, she brought her experience to Holyrood PR last year. Overall, Ainsley has been working in the PR Industry for almost four years. It is with this wealth of experience that Ainsley remains a vital member of the team.

Q – What do you enjoy most about your job?

Telling the stories of others, particularly the ones that are noticeably helping people such as the work we do for SKFF. It’s very rewarding to be helping raise money and awareness for young people in hospital.

Q – What do you enjoy doing most when you are not in the office?

Eating and Drinking and taking photos of my food.

Ainsley’s love of food and drink is apparent, and with a wealth of food and drink experience, she provides an insight into the latest trend of foodie photography

Q – Tell us something not many people know about you?

I was born in Rinteln, Germany in a British Military Hospital. I then spent some of my childhood in Northern Ireland during the troubles.

Q – What would you define as the highlight of your career so far?

Oh, definitely rolling sausage meat into the shape of a previous clients name for a supplier photo-call. I hope you know I’m joking!? But seriously, there have been many highlights but perhaps reaching the position I am now in the short space of time I have.

Q – If you were only able to read one newspaper for the rest of your life, which newspaper would it be?

The Daily Mail. Because when I’m old it’s probably the only paper I’ll still be able to understand.

Q – When the office tea-round comes around, what is your drink of choice?

Strong tea. NOT a cup of milk.

And outside of work?

Outside of work it’s prosecco, always prosecco.

Q – You have one superpower, which superpower do you have and how do you use it?

To be invisible. For some reason I’ve always been known as the Queen of Gossip so it would make living up to my reputation a lot easier if I could hear everything that goes on behind closed doors!

Ainsley’s passion and determination brings out the best in our clients. Make use of her experience and boost your business.
