Media Coverage a Walk in the Park for Bield

on behalf of Bield Housing And Care
A month of achievement for Bield, Scotland’s leading care and housing provider, was backed up by outstanding coverage across the country thanks to Edinburgh’s Holyrood Partnership.
Off to a flying start with their AGM, Bield promised to keep people at the heart of what they do, paying homage to the company’s ability to adapt and respond to feedback.
Holyrood ensured the that this message was itself taken into account securing publications in the care press on Scottish Housing News and Housing Scotland Today.
Bield continued to honour the importance individual effort plays in their organisation with several long service awards issued to staff who have been providing exemplary care services for fifteen or twenty-five years.
With coverage in the Airdrie and Coatbridge Advertiser, Falkirk Herald, Glasgow Evening
Times and the Evening Telegraph we made sure that these achievements were noted far and wide.
All this has not resulted in any resting on their laurels, however, as a Bield’s Fundraiser, Kevin Rowe, raised over £2,000 by walking the John Muir Way along with staff and tenants.
This resulted in Holyrood PR attracting four great pieces of care industry coverage in Care Industry News, Sycare-support.co.uk, Scottish Housing News and Housing Scotland Today.
Further pieces were taken up in Scottish Housing News and Housing Scotland Today as well as local newspaper East Fife Mail to guarantee that Bield’s appeal for volunteers in Buckhaven received plenty of attention.
The care industry publications were also glad to cover the story of ‘Wee Betty’s Bistro’, a fantastic innovation that allows people with memory impairment to dine out with family and friends without facing the stress of an unfamiliar environment.
All this varied coverage came as an ongoing effort by the team at Holyrood PR to increase public awareness of the fantastic services and achievements of Bield.
