Magnificent Seven for Holyrood PR

Holyrood PR BlogPress releases

Award recognition for Holyrood PRAs a Scottish PR agency dedicated to telling stories in the most engaging way possible using words, photo, video and social media, Holyrood PR work hard for our clients, and it’s great when we gain recognition for our efforts.

After our success in last year’s awards, we are delighted to announce that Holyrood PR has today been shortlisted for seven awards in the 2014 CIPR Scotland PRide Awards (our industry ‘Oscars’).

As well as scooping a record number of shortlistings for us at the awards, we also had extra cause to celebrate as we were shortlisted for all seven categories we entered – the most achieved by any agency in the prestigious awards.

The Holyrood PR team is in the running for the Corporate and Business Communications Campaign (two nominations), Best Use of Media Relations, Community Relations Campaign, Best Sporting Campaign and Low Budget Campaign awards as well as Melissa Clark being nominated in the Outstanding Young Communicator category.

Co-Founding Director Raymond Notarangelo said: “The PRide Awards celebrate the very best in public relations in Scotland so to scoop the highest number of shortlistings this year is an amazing achievement.

“To have all our ‘magnificent’ seven entries win through to the final list demonstrates the consistent and diverse skills of Holyrood PR across a range of varied and complex sectors.

“We know we are delivering superb results week in-week out for our clients through our top quality story-spotting, creativity and sheer hard work, so it is very pleasing to receive this independent recognition for our industry-leading work.”

More than 40 of Scotland’s leading public relations teams, consultancies and individuals have made the shortlist of the 2014 CIPR Scotland PRide Awards, with the winners being announced on later this year.

Katrine Pearson, Chair of the CIPR Scotland group, said: “Once again we received a fantastic number of entries for the CIPR Scotland PRide Awards which is testament to the quality and variety of activity our public relations industry is delivering.

“The PRide Awards are an opportunity for our practitioners to do a bit of PR for themselves and shout about the great work being produced in Scotland. I’d like to congratulate everyone who has been shortlisted and we look forward to seeing them all on 9 October.”

The awards will be announced at a ceremony in Edinburgh on October 9.

Note: The CIPR PRide Awards is the only UK-wide awards scheme that recognises excellence in public relations and communications work. Now in its 11th year, the Awards grow year-on-year as consultancies and organisations increasingly recognise the benefits of awards from the PR professions only Chartered body.
