Banks Renewables Courier Banks Renewables, has confirmed its commitment to the local communities surrounding its projects, by pledging to secure construction contracts for local firms, should plans for its Bandirran Wind Farm go ahead.

Local Perth papers, the Courier and the Perthshire Advertiser both picked up on the news that the Hamilton-based firm will commit to employ local firms in the construction of the six turbine wind farm.

Should plans for the wind farm go ahead around 15-20% of the £26million worth of construction contracts available, will be offered to local firms and will include anything from construction and maintenance, quarrying, plant hire and traffic management to name but a few.

Both articles announced this commitment and encouraged local businesses to attend a series of exhibitions which wereBanks Renewables Perthshire Advertiser held by Banks Renewables to give further information about these contracts, as well allow local residents to find out more about the wind farm itself.
