Work Begins on Linlithgow Homes

Cala Homes Press releases

Edinburgh public relations experts issue Linlithgow development release

WORK is underway at a residential development that will provide much needed, quality family homes in Linlithgow.

The recently approved CALA Homes development at The Oaks on Friar’s Brae, Linlithgow will provide five detached properties on the southern edge of the town, within the Conservation Area.

The new homes – which are allocated in the Council’s Local Plan – are expected to be met with considerable demand, with all five homes scheduled to be completed by next summer.

Building materials for the site have been carefully selected to take account of the conservation area setting, with slate roof tiles, timber windows and natural stone detailing featuring throughout.
Philip Hogg, Sales Director at CALA Homes (East), said: “We are delighted to have made a start on what will be a highly desirable development.

“It is important that development augment the local surrounds. The careful use of materials results in this being a small development with real character.”

The project will also provide a boost for local education and affordable housing provision – with major contributions towards both resulting from the successful planning application.

CALA Homes is headquartered in Scotland and employs 600 people and earned its reputation on the high quality of the homes it builds, which are sensitively designed to augment the areas in which they are located.
