The ELPG group of leading property solicitors have been celebrating after scooping a prestigious piece of coverage in one of Scotland’s top law publications.
The Journal ran an article about how the ELPG – which consists of five of Edinburgh’s top property solicitors – had issued a call to the Government to help first time buyers across Scotland.
Although first time buyers can currently get help from the LIFT scheme or look to get shared equity mortgages or help from the Bank of Mum & Dad to fund their first move, the ELPG believes more can be done to encourage them to take their first steps on the ladder. It adds that, if the Government steps in to help, it will help stimulate activity elsewhere along the property chain in Scotland.
The full coverage can be seen on The Journal’s website and was the result of a media campaign maintained by Holyrood PR PR in Edinburgh.
