Legal PR experts celebrate dynamic legal firm’s awards success
THE PSM LAW GROUP, one of Scotland’s most dynamic legal firms, has been honoured in two leading business awards.
The company, which has its head office in Dunfermline, received commendations in the Best Use of Technology Award in National Business Awards of Scotland and in the Mould Breaking Firm category of MPF European Practice Management Awards.
Both awards recognised the PSM Law Group’s ground-breaking use of new technology to improve its business and service to customers, in particular its computerised conveyancing processes.
In the National Business Awards, the judges said: “The firm is no longer dependent on the Fife or even Scottish market for business and is now an effective UK-wide business with huge growth potential.”
While the judges in the MPF Awards said: “The PSM Law Group broke all moulds because this was the firm that set the standard for client-sensitive automation – and, having set that standard years ago, continues to raise the bar in terms of quality and efficiency.”
Although established only 13 years ago, the PSM Law Group is enjoying rapid growth, due in the main to its philosophy of building a dynamic legal practice combining the best of traditional values with modern business solutions. The company recently underwent a major re-organisation to focus on the development of its four main divisions, including the Hunters-psm solicitors and estate agents.
Co-founding partner Michael Maloco said the award successes were a tribute to the company’s commitment to embrace modern technology in its business practices wherever possible.
He said: “While our investment in new technology has been made purely to improve our service to customers and clients, it is very pleasing that our innovative endeavours have been recognised in this way.
“This type of success shows that what we are doing at PSM Law Group is so far ahead of its time.”
