Laura’s Racecourse Success Sees Her First Past The Post.

Sales Manager at Hamilton Racecourse Laura Stratford saw her talents recognised in this week’s Hamilton Advertiser.

After working at the venue for just over three years with private and corporate hospitality specialist, Laura has been awarded ‘Scottish Saleswoman of the Year’ after helping to boost visitor numbers and using her expertise to drive an increase in the wedding market.

Laura who picked up her award at an event held at One Queen Anne’s Gate in London, said: “I’m incredibly lucky because I love working at Hamilton Park as it is so varied and I meet a lot of different people. Winning this award was an unexpected bonus.

“It’s a real team effort at Hamilton Park and I’d like to thank everyone I work with for making it possible for us to enjoy the successes which led to this award.”

The Scotland regional director for Sodexo Prestige, Austin Tilsley, said:  “We would like to congratulate Laura on winning Scottish sales manager of the year and can’t wait to see more of her good work in the future.”
