Scottish PR success as new menu at La Piazza makes the headlines.

Edinburgh city centre restaurant La Piazza have hit back at the disruptive tramworks with their new ‘Pothole Pizza’ as reported exclusively in the Edinburgh Evening News.

Their ‘Pothole Pizza’, along with other tram themed options such as the Leith Walk Siciliana and the Haymarket Blues are a tongue in cheek reponse to the months of disruption experienced across the city centre and beyond whilst the tramworks continue.

La Piazza is a long established, family-run Italian restaurant which has been a favourite with city diners for many years. Owner Tony Pia has come up with this new idea to remind the council of the adverse effect of the latest transport project – knowing first hand the problems it has caused local businesses.
