An Edinburgh based website dedicated to providing residents and tourists with reviews and information has featured a review of Italian restaurant and pizzeria La Favorita.

Edinburgh Spotlight, which reviews restaurants, shops, events and tourist attractions, gave the Italian eatery a 5 star review.

Bringing a true Italian experience to the streets of Edinburgh, the restaurant owned by Tony Crolla is best known for its selection of log fired pizzas.

And the review adds that the rest of the menu also packs a punch – offering a vast selection of pizzas, pastas, salads, mains and more.

The review highly commends the quality to which each dish is prepared and applauds La Favorita’s offering of gluten free pizzas and pastas.

Of the food sampled the review states: “I can’t express how good the pizza was and the neighbouring table of Italians, also munched their way to pizza happiness and stated they were glad that they made the trip down to Leith.
