La Favorita Italian restaurant has enjoyed PR results in Scotland thanks to a tasty review in a national newspaper’s magazine supplement.

The award-winning pizzeria received an 8/10 score from Spectrum magazine reviewer Richard Bath.

Mr Bath, whose review featured in the Scotland on Sunday magazine supplement, praised the fresh food and extensive menu at the restaurant on Leith Walk.

He told how the quality food evoked “memories from Tuscany” and made a colourful comparison between one dish and a popular comedian.

He the moist fillet of turbot “was the Michael McIntyre of fish dishes: hugely enjoyable, but without a controversial edge in sight.”
