GBBO star gives guests a flavour of what life could be like at The Crescent
THE LUXURIOUS and state-of-the-art kitchens at CALA’s most exclusive new development have been put to the test by one of Britain’s best loved bakers.
The kitchens within The Crescent at Donaldson’s have been showcased at a select event which saw Great British Bake Off finalist Ruby Bhogal demonstrate one of her signature recipes.
Ruby, who is an architectural graduate, brought the new community together at The Crescent by baking a lemon and ginger meringue pie for residents and esteemed guests.
Ruby said: “I was delighted when I was asked to come to Edinburgh – it’s my very first time here and it has blown me away.
“It was lovely to bake in the stunning surroundings of The Crescent. You can tell there’s a real sense of community here already.”
Designed by Kitchens International, the studio kitchens at The Crescent offer all the practicality of modern living with a host of additional luxuries.
Silestone worktops, Gaggenau touch-control induction hobs, integrated Siemens appliances, LED under-unit lighting and a dual-temperature free standing wine cooler are all included as standard in the range of 84 apartments, penthouses and duplexes.
A signature touch by Kitchens International includes a stylish kitchen island with integrated back-flip sockets and USB ports.
Leicht ‘Contino’ soft close wall and drawer units are also included with every kitchen, as well as a Quooker ‘Fusion’ tap within the penthouses.
