SLTN (Scottish Licensing Trade News) magazine, has featured an article on the charity drive carried out by Italian restaurant Vittorias.
The Edinburgh eatery, has raised thousands of pounds for charity, after introducing a children’s meal scheme.
The scheme saw the restaurant reduce the price of a £5.50 children’s meal to £1 giving the difference to the ForthOne and Forth2 Cash for Kids appeal.
To date, the restaurant has raised £7388 for the charity, which provides support for disabled and disadvantaged children in Edinburgh, East Lothians and Fife.
Tony Crolla owner of Vittorias and LaFavorita – which has also been involved in the scheme – says in the article: “This year we are going to try to acheive an even bigger amount for the charity and hope new families – even those who have enjoyed it before – will come and take advantage of this offer”
The full article can be read in the April edition of the SLTN magazine and was secured as part of a succesful PR campaign carried out by the Holyrood PR.
