The Corinthian Club The Corinthian Club, located in Glasgow’s Merchant City, has imposed a photography ban during the Commonwealth Games.

Being dubbed ‘Keep it to Yourselfie’, the photography ban includes all personal and commercial photographs taken by anyone within the Ingram Street venue.

Lynn Stevenson of the Corinthian Club said: “We know The Corinthian Club will likely attract many important public figures through its doors during the Commonwealth Games.

“We feel that it is important to respect the privacy of any famous or well-known figures who will come to our venue to relax and enjoy themselves throughout the Games.

“We are keen to make sure everyone feels welcome and comfortable when they visit The Corinthian Club by creating a private and non-intrusive atmosphere for everyone.

“Ultimately we want everyone who visits The Corinthian Club during the Games to have a good time and soak up the buzzing atmosphere in Glasgow.”

To ensure that the photography ban remains in place, The Corinthian Club intends to monitor all five floors and each of the separate venues to ensure that no one violates the ban.

Lynn added: “Whilst we have no intention of searching through people’s bags or of confiscating anyone’s belongings, we do ask that those visiting The Corinthian Club abide by the photography ban.”

The Corinthian Club is one of Glasgow’s most exclusive venues and is well known for its luxurious and extravagant décor and wide range of venues spanning across its five floors.

Venues within The Corinthian Club include a casino, a nightclub and a boutique champagne bar, as well as the tasty Teller’s Bar and Brasserie and countless private function rooms available for those keen for a more intimate setting.
