Experienced Dental Duo Launch Treatments to Fill Gap in the Highlands

AN INVERNESS dental practice is offering patients the chance to enhance their natural features with a range of facial aesthetic treatments.

Two dentists at Clyde Munro’s Torwood Dental Practice are harnessing their years’ of industry experience to offer patients anti-wrinkle injections and lip fillers – after noticing a shortage of treatment options in the Highlands.

Jane Patterson and Deirdre Collins, who are both long-standing dentists at the practice, are confident that their in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy and experience with nervous patients will allow them to offer clients peace of mind.

Jane said: “Dentistry and facial aesthetics go hand-in-hand with each other – we already spend our day job looking at faces and performing injections so it seemed like a natural step.

“We don’t want to change appearances all together, we just want to help people become the most confident version of themselves.

“Patients often come to us with the smallest insecurity – something that no one else will notice – yet it’s the first thing their eyes are drawn to when they look in the mirror. We can often fix this in just one or two appointments.”

Torwood is hosting an open day on Saturday 10th August to celebrate the launch of the service where patients will receive a free consultation – saving £30 – and discounted treatment rates.

Deirdre added: “We both noticed that there are a lot more treatment options in the Central Belt than there are further north. You shouldn’t be restricted by geography if you want to make simple changes to make yourself feel better.

“People will invest in their teeth and often lip fillers can be the final piece of the puzzle – lowering the bottom lip line or boosting the lip slightly to achieve the perfect, symmetrical smile.”

The award-winning team at Torwood Dental Practice are part of Clyde Munro’s expanding network of family dentists across Scotland, employing more than 100 clinicians and treating at least 200,000 patients.

Each practice is devoted to providing the best dental care, while reflecting the needs and character of its community. The company prides itself on being Scotland’s local dentist and it has signalled its intention to continue acquiring more practices.

Prices for anti-wrinkle injections and lip fillers begin at £230. Those interested in treatments can attend the open day on Saturday 10th August or contact the practice on 01463 712772.
