Inspiration of the Location Sees Showhomes Launched in Balerno

Cala Homes Press releases

Kingfisher Park, Balerno Property PR

TWO stunning showhomes have been launched in a highly desirable Edinburgh suburb – allowing buyers to envisage their dream home at the picturesque setting.

The five bedroom detached showhomes at the new Kingfisher Park development in Balerno are now open to the public after completion by upmarket homebuilder CALA Homes (East).

With interiors from the highly reputed design house, Blocc Interiors, The Kennedy and The Lowther from CALA’s exciting new Light and Space collection offer spacious family homes with modern and luxurious style.

Both interior designs vary greatly, with The Lowther inspired by the plumage of the majestic Kingfisher, a bird that keen spotters can find at the nearby Water of Leith.

The Kennedy carries elements of the nearby Pentland Hills, with the textures and colours reflecting the nature reserve the hills offer, and the verdant landscape.

Suzanne Thomas, Creative Sales Director at Blocc oversaw the project from start to finish: “The design of the Lowther started with the colours of the Kingfisher – we added teal velvet sofas to the living room with an orange statement chair.

“Using grey as a base colour to pull it all together makes for an eclectic but stylish look.

“The Kennedy was inspired by the natural surroundings of Balerno – the Pentland Hills. The colours used are classic creams and warm taupes with pops of racing car green and a statement wood effect wallpaper in the hallway.”

Aimed at those looking for the ideal balance of tranquil living within a short commute of  the city, Kingfisher Park in Balerno is the latest development to be launched by CALA Homes (East) in an area where it has already seen successful homebuilding over the last 20 years.

Potential buyers can expect high specification homes designed with contemporary family living in mind, only a short journey from the capital by train from nearby Curriehill station and seven mile drive from the airport.

The city of Edinburgh bypass is also easily accessible, as well as the M8 to Glasgow.

Philip Hogg, Sales and Marketing Director with CALA Homes (East), said: “These two homes will make a lasting impression on homebuyers looking at their next home in Balerno.

“The team at Blocc have done an incredible job of reflecting the surroundings in a way that is quirky and fun, while showing off the luxury, space and practicality of these family homes.

“We fully expect a range of buyers to be interested at Kingfisher Park thanks to the large selection of homes.”

Situated near to excellent local schooling, open space, walkways and a play area, Kingfisher Park offers a perfect location for setting up a family home.

Amenities in Balerno and the surrounding areas of Currie and Juniper Green are plentiful and provide entertainment for both children and adults.

Featuring a range of homes, the current release comprises four and five bedroom homes, with demand proving to be high and early reservations already taken.
