Green Fingered Pupils in Currie Pose for Photography PR pics

Cala Homes

It was National Gardening Week (10th-16th April) so CALA Homes (East) helped green fingered pupils at Woodlands Special School in Currie dig for gold. We were on hand to ensure these great Photography PR pics got snapped up.

The homebuilder provided a donation of equipment for the schools garden. As well as gardening tools including spades, trowels, rakes, brooms and gloves, the school also received an insect sculpture hotel and seeds to encourage wildlife into the school gardens.

Representatives from CALA Homes Kinleith Mill’s development delivered the donation and was happy to get involved in these Photography PR snaps.

National Gardening Week was launched six years ago by the Royal Horticultural Society and since then has grown into the country’s biggest celebration of gardening.

This year’s theme focuses on inspiring new gardeners to get involved in growing plants and flowers – an activity that is hugely beneficial for children in terms of learning and development and one that CALA was keen to support within the local schools surrounding its developments.
