Water Works
Panton McLeod has pioneered the use of underwater robots to help clean and inspect many of the UK’s network of underground storage tanks – where drinking water is kept before being sent to customers taps. The firm’s VR600 machine is used to clean debris and sediment from the floor of these structures – known as service reservoirs – while they are still active, which means that there is no disruption to customers’ water supplies.
