Tigerlily makeover an absolute vision thanks to successul PR Photography
Edinburgh’s gem on George Street is a magnificent spectacle for PR Photography following impressive transformation.
Tigerlily, the ground-breaking ‘go-to’ venue that redefined Edinburgh’s bar, restaurant and hotel scene, has undergone a major refurbishment to further cement its position as Scotland’s number one destination for food, drink and entertainment.
The George Street venue – which includes an award-winning boutique hotel – has had an impressive £500,000 makeover of its ground floor interior and décor.
Alongside the refurbishment, visitors will find an impressive new menu packed with local flavour while the drinks offer has been completely shaken up.
When Tigerlily first opened in 2006, it set a new benchmark for Edinburgh’s style bars and restaurants to become the most talked-about venue in Scotland.
Acclaimed designer Jim Hamilton, who conceived the original design, has been appointed again to lead the creation of the new-look Tigerlily – ensuring that the venue will once more have an undeniable wow factor.
The main change sees the much loved Georgian building far more exposed yet cleverly split into unique areas that are aimed at being equally appealing for any occasion. Eye-catching features include a new marble top bar, a gallery of quirky art, crystal-studded tiled flooring and an abundance of greenery.
Tigerlily is the flagship venue of Montpeliers (Edinburgh) Ltd, the group responsible for some of Edinburgh’s best and most forward thinking bars and restaurants.
David Johnston, Development Director at Montpeliers, is confident the refurbishment will see Tigerlily continue to be the most sought after bar, restaurant and hotel in Edinburgh in terms of style, product and customer service.
He said: “When we opened Tigerlily we wanted to bring something fresh and new to Edinburgh’s vibrant social scene. We delivered on that aim – and in doing so, positioned Tigerlily as the pacesetter for Scotland’s stylish bars and restaurants.
“Tigerlily will still be glamorous and even a bit theatrical but the new design and combined with changes to the food and drink menu will make it an even better venue that appeals to everyone – from business people hot desking, to young professionals and students, to shoppers and after work drinkers.”
