The Fans who Moved Closer to Turbines

PR Agency find Biggest Fans of Wind Turbines

The award-winning team from Edinburgh’s Holyrood PR, have been telling stories for Banks Renewables in the most creative way.

Wind energy firm, Banks renewables wanted to tell the story of two of their biggest supporters for their proposed Crofthill Community Windfarm, and Holyrood were there to tell their story with stunning pictures.

Say hello to Jim Hewlett and Elaine McGonnal.

Elaine McGonnal has been a long time supporter of wind energy – so much that she moved home to be closer to them. She said

“We’ve been here for five years now, but I still love watching the turbines going round as I find it very peaceful and soothing. In the summer I quite often sit in the back garden with a cup of tea watching the turbines. It really does chill me out”.

Mr Hewlett, 61, is a firm believer that Banks’ proposed wind farm will bring many benefits to the local economy, but more importantly to his main passion, the planet.
